This is our 2018 steering group committee as confirmed at our public meeting on 11th April 2018.

Jacqueline Cave, Local Resident

Lives close to Walcot Street and brings a wealth of strategic and commissioning experience. Jacqueline can support, budget management, writing funding bids, needs assessments and developing evidence based outcomes.

Julie Doherty, Avon Wildlife Trust

Julie has been a key driver of the project representing the Avon Wildlife Trust but also giving her own time to run gardening sessions and attend meetings.

Adrian Dolan, Bath Aqua Glass/ Walcot Street Traders

Chair of Walcot Street Traders, Adrian has utilised his local contacts to drive the Wild Walcot project forward in its first year.

Beatrice Pounder, The Duchess

Beatrice runs a business on Walcot Street, attended early meetings on the project and has been pivotal in putting together the constitution for the Wild Walcot group.

Kate Starks, Picnic Coffee

Offers experience of project and budget management, marketing, secretariat and all that comes from running a business. Kate’s power tools helped make short work of some of the community garden jobs.

Sue Whitaker, Walcot Street Resident

A keen gardener and a resident of the street for many years. Sue has been involved with the pop-up garden since its creation.

Poppy Hoad

Life long resident of Walcot Street, who will bring creativity and enthusiasm to the role of Youth ambassador.
